Bob’s Stores selects JustEnough software for store-level inventory replenishment

(Durham, N.C.) JustEnough announced that northeastern retailer Bob’s Stores selected their inventory management and replenishment solution to calculate safety stock for the replenishment of store-level inventory. Bob’s Stores operates 34 retail stores that offer casualwear, activewear, footwear, workwear, teamwear and beachwear for adults, teen and children. Through their replenishment planning processes, Bob’s Stores was continually striving for superior customer experiences while maintaining an affordable level of carrying inventory.

The company had begun to make significant progress in achieving both of these goals but due to systems with limited capability, Bob’s Stores faced significant challenges with the scalability and sustainability of replenishment processes, compelling them to seek out a systemic solution.

“We were made aware of JustEnough through AMR Research, as we were seeking replenishment solutions with advanced capabilities that could offer a high ROI for a chain of our size,” said Victor D’Amato, AVP Planning and Analysis at Bob’s Stores.

Bob’s Stores ended up choosing JustEnough for its replenishment because the company offered an advanced, modular solution that would be sustainable and scalable enough to work at 34 stores. It was also important for the replenishment solution to grow as the company expanded their business… and their inventory.

“In a short two months time, we will be up and running with a major portion of their inventory management tool set and will look to expand into additional Order Management, Forecasting and Promotional Planning functions in the near future,” said D’Amato.

With JustEnough’s help, Bob’s Stores plans to reduce stock out situations by having the right inventory at the right place and the right time. As D’Amato states, “Ultimately, in Replenishment Planning, it’s about enhancing the customer experience by reducing stock outs. If we can accomplish this goal while also maintaining an efficient inventory investment, this project will provide a high dollar ROI and more importantly, a high customer satisfaction ROI.”
