(Charlotte, N.C.) Source Technologies, an innovator of award-winning kiosks and world-class secure and MICR print solutions, joins the National WIC Association as a Sustaining Business Council member. WIC (Women Infants and Children) is a Federal grant program that provides nutritious foods and nutrition education to participants at no charge.

For more than ten years, Source Technologies has worked closely with WIC agencies, in more than 30 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands, to implement solutions that improve processes while enhancing service. Joining the National WIC Association (NWA) gives the company the opportunity to better understand the challenges WIC professionals face combining technology with their desire to deliver valuable nutrition benefits.

“Source Technologies has a long-standing relationship with the WIC community; It’s a collaborative relationship that we value highly,” said Keith Hamilton, VP of Sales for Source Technologies. “When we realized there was an opportunity to join the NWA, and bring our relationship to a new level, we seized the opportunity. We’ve been a part of the WIC community’s past, their present and view joining the Association as a stepping stone to being part of their future. We appreciate that the NWA is people helping people, and by joining the Association, we have the opportunity to help further their mission.”

Founded in 1983, the National WIC Association (NWA) is the non-profit education arm and advocacy voice of the over 12,200 state and local service agencies providing quality nutrition education, nutritious food supplements, healthcare and other referral services to the over 9.3 million at-risk women, infants and young children who participate in WIC nationwide.
