(Garner, N.C.)  WingSwept was once again named on Triangle Business Journal’s Top Internet Marketing & Design Firms. For the past three years WingSwept has progressively moved up the list from fourteenth to seventh, and is now ranked as fifth in the area. The rankings are based on the amount of personnel dedicated to Internet marketing and design, which has been on the rise along with the entire WingSwept staff.
In 2009, this Garner-based technology firm has four separate divisions (Government Services, Network Support, Vertical Marketing and Web Development), but was founded solely around web development over fourteen years ago. In fact, WingSwept’s very first customer was a web client and is still with them today. The company has surely come a long way, and the staff is overjoyed to be named as a top Internet marketing and design firm in the Triangle area.  Although always advancing, WingSwept’s experience is one of the more distinguishing factors amongst competition since there are few in the industry that have been in the field since 1995.

Internet marketing and design projects include not only the Web Development division, but also the Vertical Marketing division, which provides the automotive repair and body shop industry with fully functional, interactive, and customized websites in a quick fashion. The ready-to-go websites take a lot of time, talent, and resources to create on WingSwept’s end, but once finalized they are then readily available to companies around the world that are in need of a professional website at a low customer investment.

WingSwept consists of two companies, WingSwept Communications and WingSwept Technologies, which provide full-service information technology consulting focused on interactive media and essential technology systems. Their staff of more than 20 serves a diverse set of clients in all 50 states and around the world. WingSwept’s services focus on the areas of government services, network support, web application development and vertical marketing. The companies maintain separate divisions with dedicated staff for Web/database development and information technology consulting.

Headquartered in Garner, N.C., WingSwept Communications was established in 2000, followed by the incorporation of WingSwept Technologies in 2002 by its president, Jay Strickland, who has been in the technology consulting field since 1995.
