(High Point, N.C.) As Auton Motorized Systems continues celebrating more than 50 years of success, it will be displaying its comprehensive line of luxury-market products at this month’s High Point Market in North Carolina. High Point is the “show of shows” in the world of home furnishings, and is currently celebrating 100 years as the world’s epicenter of home furnishings.

“We feel like we’ve achieved a great milestone ourselves, being in business as long as we have,” says Auton CEO and founder Virgil Walker. “And going to High Point while they celebrate 100 years reminds of us how proud we are to be running as long as we have.”

Auton is world-renowned for its innovation, quality and lean manufacturing practices. All of these factors combined provide the luxury market with the best automated lift products available.

One of Auton’s latest innovations is the all-in-one multi-function control box (MFC) which receives RF, infrared, RS232 and low voltage remote signals with no reconfiguration required. The control box’s adaptability increases the installer’s options without requiring any additional equipment. “That’s what we’re here for, to make life easier for everyone… consumers and installers alike,” says Walker.

When asked about whether the current economic crisis challenges Auton’s 54-year run, Walker shrugs it off with a wave of his hand. “Oh, I will tell you, we’ve seen it before, and we will see it again. Core products from solid companies weather these storms and just keep on going. It’s the companies that try to capitalize on the market with lesser quality products or poor manufacturing practices that don’t survive these times. There’s no question High Point Market will be there for another 100 years, and we’re going to be right there along with them.”

High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 85,000 people to High Point every six months. Serious retail home furnishings buyers can be found in High Point twice a year because if you can’t find it in High Point, it probably doesn’t exist. And you will definitely find Auton there.
