Heath Decisions CIO Maurice Hagar wins Movers & Shakers Award
(Durham, N.C.) Health Decisions (www.HealthDec.com), a full-service clinical research organization (CRO) specializing in high-efficiency adaptive solutions, congratulates its Chief Information Officer (CIO) Maurice Hagar, who received a 2009 Movers & Shakers award from Business Leader Media. The award recognizes Hagar as a rising leader among Triangle businesses with more than 100 employees.
Hagar leads information technology initiatives at Health Decisions with a focus on business innovation and agile processes. His team recently launched HD360˚ ¾ a state-of-the-art, adaptive clinical trials management system that allows biotech and pharmaceutical companies to reduce development costs and increase the delivery speed of life-enhancing drugs.
Hagar also serves as technology adviser to PogoHealth, an online resource for dietary supplement information. He is actively involved with a number of non-profits, and serves on the Board of Directors for the NC Society for Information Management, on the Management Advisory Council for the Association of Information Technology Professional, and on the CIO Forum’s Executive Advisory Council.
