MicroTech awarded five-year Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contract

MicroTech announced today a five-year contract award from the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide technical management support for the Global Combat Support System-Joint (GCSS-J) Computer Lab program. Under the terms of the DISA contract, MicroTech will provide Information Systems and Lab Systems support, and Security Engineering support activities — including research, design, and development — as well as incorporating new and existing systems and infrastructure focused on GCSS-J, while supporting the Base Realignment and Closure move to Fort Meade, MD. The DISA contract was awarded through GSA’s Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) program, in which MicroTech is a Prime Contractor.
