Trimeris receives delisting notice from NASDAQ
(Durham, N.C.) Trimeris, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRMS) (“Trimeris” or the “Company”), a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the commercialization of therapeutic agents for the treatment of HIV, today announced that it has received a NASDAQ Staff determination letter dated January 5, 2010, notifying the Company that its common stock is subject to delisting due to the Company’s failure to hold its required annual meeting for fiscal year 2009.
Trimeris has requested an appeal of the NASDAQ Staff’s determination. Such request and hearing process will stay further action to delist the Company’s securities from the NASDAQ Stock Market until such time as the hearing procedures have concluded.
