Doe & Ingalls of North Carolina names new CEO

(Durham, N.C.) Doe & Ingalls of North Carolina, a leading chemical services provider, announces the retirement of co-founder and CEO, John Elmo and the appointment of new executive leadership. John Hollenbach, vice president and general manager, will immediately assume the role of president and CEO.

Elmo, along with co-founder Tom Merrick, founded the company in 1986. Through the years, Elmo has helped foster the customer-centric culture that Doe & Ingalls of North Carolina is known for within the industry. Since its inception, Doe & Ingalls of North Carolina has demonstrated consistent double-digit growth year after year and has expanded to include facilities in California, Florida, Maryland and North Carolina. Elmo is credited with streamlining internal systems and creating processes that serve as the cornerstone of the company’s operations today.

Elmo will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity on the board of directors.
