(Charlotte, N.C.) Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ Capital Market: NEXS) requests that you disregard its press release entitled “U.S. Department of Energy’s CALiPER results confirm Array™ Lighting as highest efficacy LED directional lamp in the market.” The release mistakenly publicized Nexxus Lighting’s Department of Energy participation results, which the company was unaware was prohibited under guidelines from the DOE and the CALiPER program. The matter was quickly identified, and actions were taken immediately to remove this information from the media. The DOE does not endorse specific products or manufacturers and Nexxus Lighting will not publish any additional information regarding this matter.
