(Apex, N.C.) Excel Physical Therapy in Apex has launched a new, informative website detailing the six-year-old clinic’s personalized approach to hands-on care for adults, teens, kids and seniors rehabbing injuries or recovering from surgery. The website, www.xlpt.net, provides insight for patients and referring physicians into Excel’s consultative care model incorporating manual therapeutic techniques at their fully equipped PT clinic and customized patient home exercise programs.

“Our highly trained staff is experienced in physical therapy and exercise science, and several of us are ex-athletes who have rehabbed from injuries at one time or another,” Greg Bashor, MPT, the owner and president of Excel Physical Therapy said.

“We have the perspective of both patient and physical therapist, so we treat patients the way we would want to be treated,” he added.

In addition to listing services provided by Excel Physical Therapy, such as PT for shoulder rehab, back and neck pain, overuse injuries and post-surgical care, the new website includes a place to sign-up for Excel’s customer care newsletter, a free informative publication full of preventative injury tips and rehab care advice; and information about Excel Physical Therapy’s staff and warm, welcoming environment.

According to Bashor, his staff engages in consultative care for each patient, who sees the same PT throughout the length of treatment as they began with. In addition to receiving hands-on treatment at the Excel clinic, each patient receives a customized home exercise program and ongoing communication and follow-up from the Excel staff.

“Although we see the same kinds of injuries and surgeries over and over, every patient has a unique physiology, personality, and timeline for recovery,” Bashor said, adding, “We build a personal relationship with each patient in order to really get to know their needs and build a rehabilitation plan that’s right for them.”

Excel Physical Therapy is located at 1031 W. Williams Street (Highway 55) in Apex between Wake Med Hospital and Beaver Creek Commons shopping center, convenient to Highway 64 and Route 1. Office hours vary Monday through Friday; for details, please call (919) 249-4040 or visit www.xlpt.net.
