(Charlotte, N.C.) LifeLock, Inc. (www.lifelock.com), the industry leader in proactive identity theft protection, and Bobcats Sports & Entertainment (BSE) announced today the organizations have entered into a multi-year marketing partnership.

“We have been in discussions with the Bobcats for quite some time and we have created a strategic program that will help LifeLock with both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business objectives,” said Todd Davis, LifeLock Chairman and CEO. “The Bobcats’ organization offers a unique opportunity to assist LifeLock in establishing key strategic partnerships, as well as educate consumers on the risks of identity theft and how LifeLock can help protect them.”

The newfound partnership provides LifeLock® entitlement to the box office at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, and includes branding and logo placement in the arena’s main box office lobby. In addition, LifeLock will be given logo placement on all box office stationary and will-call envelopes, as well as placement on the scoreboard’s lower ring, digital presence at www.bobcats.com and www.timewarnercablearena.com, and radio advertising spots during Bobcats game broadcasts.

“Our partnership with LifeLock enables us to direct the marketing efforts that raise awareness about an important cause – consumer protection from identity theft,” said BSE President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Whitfield. “We believe this alliance between our organization and the leader in the identity theft protection field will help our fans and patrons protect themselves from this growing crime.”
