Sees increase in technology transfer clients
(Cary, N.C.) While scientists and inventors can learn how to do business, often the best use of their time is in advancing the technology/innovation platform, not doing bookkeeping, Strickland explained.
“They need to understand business from a strategic perspective, while realizing that spending their time doing transactional details can slow the commercialization process from both the product and business perspectives,” she said. Strickland adds “Finding the balance between business and technology focus is critical to early success.”
