(Durham, N.C.) BÖWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) today announced expansion plans for a new customer excellence and demonstration center at its facility in Durham, N.C. This center will feature the widest range of inserting, sorting, software, vision and service offerings available today, and provide an opportunity for customers to meet with BBH industry experts.

“We are making a significant investment in our Customer Excellence Center to enable customers to experience our best-in-class solutions running in a fully integrated environment. This exciting initiative demonstrates our commitment to helping customers make the best decisions for their businesses during these challenging times,” said Mark Van Gorp, BBH vice president of business development and marketing. “These solutions, coupled with our award-winning service support and best-practices center, help mailers reduce costs and improve the productivity, integrity, message impact and overall quality of their operations.”

The facility will feature solutions from BBH and its partner companies. A state-of-the-art meeting room and control center, with capacity for large groups, will serve as the hub for customer meetings, technical advisory councils and other customer and industry events.

“Visitors to the Customer Center can see one or multiple solutions running standard or custom applications without the costs, distractions and fixed dates of a tradeshow,” said Mike Maselli, vice president of marketing and product management. “We believe that making a live environment available to customers year-round will shift the control back to customers, where it should be.”

The facility also includes BBH’s advanced Technical Assistance Center, Customer Care Center and BBH University. The grand opening will be in late summer.
