(Raleigh, N.C.) aiMatch announced today that Chris Hanburger has joined the team as vice president of global sales. Hanburger is tasked with expanding the reach of aiMatch’s advertising platform for publishers in the US and around the globe. He brings more than five years of online advertising experience to the company, and joins a team of other industry veterans including aiMatch executives Jeff Wood, Guy Taylor, Ryan Treichler and Steve Perks.

Hanburger has a proven record of success in managing, marketing and selling online advertising and digital marketing software. He most recently provided strategic sales leadership for emerging technology companies including TrackSimple.com and BrashInsight.

Previously as regional director of Publisher Solutions, Hanburger led advertising sales efforts in the Northeast United States for Microsoft. He came to Microsoft during the acquisition of aQuantive where he was national strategic sales director for Publisher Solutions. Prior to aQuantive, he served in a business development role at Accipiter Solutions. He has also held sales positions at Identify Software, Aerotek and others.

“I am thrilled to work with these guys again, and especially excited about having an opportunity to better serve today’s publishers,” expressed Hanburger. “Over the years, publishers have evolved their sales strategy but online advertising technology has lagged behind. aiMatch is uniquely positioned as a pure technology provider with no media conflicts, to meet the very real and strategic needs of online publishers as they emerge from this downturn in the economy.”

“Chris has years of experience working with some of the largest publishers and brands, understands the revenue challenges and opportunities that online publishers face and understands what it takes to do business globally. He has also worked with most of the aiMatch team for years. With that powerful combination, we expect him to hit the ground running and immediately contribute to the growth and success of aiMatch and our customers,” said Jeff Wood, aiMatch CEO.

aiMatch has created a single, comprehensive solution for publishers to create, forecast, model, deliver and analyze online advertising products. aiMatch delivers advanced advertising intelligence tools to help customers manage sales performance and analyze the data that impacts revenue, and to take “intelligent” action based on that data. aiMatch overcomes the limitations of traditional ad serving solutions by enabling the analysis of unlimited amounts of data, ranging from the very simple to the extremely complex, and making that data actionable.
