(Research Triangle Park, N.C.) Cenduit, LLC, a global provider of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) solutions for clinical trials, announced that two of its experts will present at upcoming clinical trial supply events in Europe and the United States. Anthony Frankland, Global Head of Sales and Marketing, and Kirsten Ferrandiz, Senior Director Account Management will discuss the use of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) to optimize the global clinical supply chain.

Frankland will take the podium at Clinical Trial Supply Europe in Basel, Switzerland February 2-3, 2012 and Clinical Trial Supply Europe in London, England February 21-22, 2012. His two presentations will address how to tackle the evolving clinical supply chain challenges through the use of IRT.

Frankland commented on the importance of IRT in managing the global clinical supply chain: “Interactive Response Technology plays an integral role in maximizing clinical supply chain efficiency and assuring study drug availability for every patient, every time. As pharmaceutical companies seek to reduce costs and waste, IRT systems have assisted in achieving this while also enabling full patient drug compliance.”

Kirsten Ferrandiz will present at a regional Clinical Supply Forum on February 9, 2012 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her presentation will emphasize the use of IRT in managing drug supply at the global level.

“As studies continue to have more complex dosing schemes and more expensive products, managing the global clinical supply chain has become increasingly more challenging. Leveraging IRT to manage clinical supplies at the global level allows for more control and flexibility while significantly reducing overage of study medication,” added Ferrandiz.

Cenduit was also asked to contribute its IRT expertise at the next meeting hosted by the Dutch Clinical Supply Forum, a community of clinical supplies professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium. This meeting will take place on February 10, 2012 at Johnson and Johnson in Beerse, Belgium.
