NC Comicon 2012 Coming this November

DURHAM, N.C.–NC Comicon 2012: bigger and better!  NC Comicon, the biggest comic book convention in the Triangle, in support of the Durham, NC community chooses The Durham Convention Center as its new home. NC Comicon 2012 promises to be bigger and better than ever. In previous years, attendance has been approximately 3500 guests with this year expected to top 5000 as well as over 35 comic book industry creators, and vendors of all kinds. There will be comics, collectables, door prizes, a costume contest, gaming competitions, creator panels, and a one of a kind opportunity to see Intergalactic Nemesis, a graphic novel performed live on stage next door at the Carolina Theater!

This all ages event will provide the whole family with an opportunity to meet and talk to the comics industry’s finest creators.  As a special treat attendants will be able to get their picture with a full scale replica of the famed Batmobile from the 1960’s TV show!  One lucky person will win a chance to ride in it.

Special guests this year include Frank Cho, (Liberty Meadows) and Duncan Fegredo (Hellboy / 2000 AD) in his only 2012 US convention appearance.
