TransTech Pharma, Inc. Announces Formation of High Point Clinical Trials Center

(High Point, N.C.) TransTech Pharma, Inc. (TransTech) today announced the formation of an independent subsidiary, High Point Clinical Trials Center, LLC, a dedicated clinical research unit specializing in early phase drug development clinical trials for a broad range of therapeutic areas. The clinic previously operated as a 24 bed unit under the name Mendenhall Clinical Research Center. During 2010, a significant expansion was completed at the center resulting in a state-of-the art 40,000 square foot facility located in High Point, NC providing for both in-patient (overnight stays) as well as for outpatient trials. The expanded facility features a 90-bed sleeping area, exam and procedure rooms, pharmacy, in-patient and outpatient fully equipped laboratories and attractive and comfortable subject spaces with recreational areas, media, reading and dining rooms. High Point Clinical Trials Center has a full time dedicated research staff of physicians, licensed nurses, pharmacists, regulatory specialists, recruiters, research technicians and coordinators.
