Tryton Announces Positive Six-Month Results for Side Branch Stent System

Tryton Medical, Inc., the leading developer of stents designed to definitively treat bifurcation lesions, announced interim six-month results from a symposium during the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2010 conference in Washington, D.C. Results from 253 patients in the E-Tryton registry presented by David P. Foley, M.D., of Beaumont Hospital & Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, demonstrated low rates of target lesion revascularization (TLR) and side branch failure (3.6 and 1.2 percent, respectively), with no incidences of stent thromboses. LabCorp Announces $250 Million Stock Repurchase Program

Laboratory Corporation of America® Holdings (NYSE: LH) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new stock repurchase program under which LabCorp may purchase up to an additional aggregate of $250 million of its Common Stock from time-to-time. LabCorp has purchased a total of $206.6 million of its Common Stock under its previously announced stock repurchase program, $56.7 million of which was completed since the end of the second quarter of 2010. Senate bill by Burr takes aim at AIDS drug crisis, says AHF

AHF is urging Democratic senators to now quickly show bipartisan support for this lifesaving bill that would address funding problems that have contributed to waiting lists in as many as 11 states and other program cutbacks that are threatening the lives of vulnerable Americans living with HIV/AIDS. Net earnings were $132.7 million, compared to $132.8 million in the first quarter of 2009. Earnings per diluted share (EPS) were $1.25 compared to $1.22 in 2009. North Carolina’s leader in home medical equipment advocacy and education, NCAMES, has released an official statement in support of the Medicare Fraud Enforcement and Prevention Act of 2010. The new legislation, H.R. 5044, was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.) and Rep.
