Triad Semiconductor and Z-Focus Technology Group will demonstrate the world’s first software-based, real-time Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) data transfer at ARM Techcon3 in Santa Clara, California from October 21-22, 2009. Since the creation of the “CE marking” system, it has become more obvious over the years that this was not just a “Free trade” arrangement for the countries in the European Union. In recent years, companies shipping products to European ports have had entire shipments delayed and even returned, for not bearing the CE mark, or for missing or incorrect paperwork. With these occurrences, it is now clear that these regulations were also intended to be a trade barrier for companies outside of the EU. (more…)

Semprius, Inc., a semiconductor technology company developing a novel transfer printing technology for the manufacture of advanced semiconductor devices, announced today it has been selected to negotiate a $500,000 subcontract award by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
